Cable Build and Shipping Times

Every Dispatch Cable is custom built, and made-to-order.

Our current lead times are about 2-3 weeks (depending on what day of the week you place your order) for your cable to be individually custom crafted based on the following rules:

  • All completed cables ship on Mondays & Tuesdays

  • All cable builds start on Wednesdays.

Our build pipeline is set up as follows:

Monday

Shipping last weeks’ orders

Tuesday

Shipping last weeks’ orders

Wednesday

Cable prep, cut, and base sleeving applied

Thursday

LEMO application and (optionally) outer sleeving applied

Friday

Off

Saturday

USB connectors and heat shrink applied

Sunday

Photography, shipping labels, and customer updates with tracking info

For example …

If an order is received on a Thursday (the 1st) this commission would:

  • Start prep till the following Wednesday (7th)

  • Complete the following Sunday (11th)

  • Shipped the following Monday (the 12th)

In the event your selected customizations have sleeving on backorder, there will naturally be a delay in when our build can start.

If this is the case, we’ll always reach out and let you know first <3.

Cable Testing and Quality Assurance

Each of our cables is tested as working properly against a variety of usage scenarios and boards.

We’ll validate that each cable works in:

  1. PC / MAC using USB-A / C when applicable

  2. Laptop using USB-A / C when applicable

  3. USB Dock connections (powered and unpowered)

In addition, we will ensure that your cable works with a variety of our sample boards to ensure the highest compatibility with a variety of keyboards. We want to make sure you love your cable wherever and however you plan on using it.

Shipping

We try and keep our shipping rates down as low as possible while keeping the service level as quick as possible.

If there is a desire to have a quicker ship time arranged, please contact us by email or via discord to arrange an alternate shipping service.

Our refund policy is simple…

You need to love your cable or we’ll make it right. Since each of our cables is a unique and custom piece, the design and styling of the cable needs to fit your space perfectly, we get that.

If for any reason you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, simply reach out to us however you’d like. Whatever the reason we’ll make it right!
